Operations Manager – Fibre Industry

Salary : R240 000 – R360 000 Per year based on experience

We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to oversee daily operations, manage field teams, and ensure efficient project delivery. The successful candidate will be responsible for improving operational processes, managing resources, maintaining compliance, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

This role requires strong leadership, operational planning, and technical knowledge within a fibre or telecommunications environment.

Job Duties:

• Manage operational teams and multiple project sites.

• Set and monitor operational targets and forecasts.

• Oversee stock, tools, and vehicle management.

• Ensure projects are delivered on time and ready for invoicing.

• Conduct site inspections and quality control checks.

• Manage procurement, inventory, and warehouse efficiency.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and health & safety standards.

• Recruit, train, and supervise operational staff.

• Build and maintain strong client relationships.

• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.​

Requirements:

• Proven experience in operations or project management.

• Strong knowledge of Fibre installation and Maintenance.

• Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Outlook, Word, MS Project).

• FOA certification and Health & Safety knowledge preferred.

• Strong leadership and team management skills.

• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

• Valid driver’s license

• Own reliable transport (Own Vehicle)

• Willingness to work overtime and Standby when required

• Clear criminal and credit record
